ControlVision to distribute LMI Technologies
Vision and robotic products manufacturer ControlVision has recently signed an agreement to distribute the LMI Technologies maestro and FireSync products throughout Australia and New Zealand.
“Where LMI Technologies is well known and respected in the forestry industry, we also see a great opportunity for LMI vision components in the meat, dairy, and food and beverage industries,” said David Berry, Managing Director of ControlVision.
Traditionally, LMI’s business model focused on OEMs and system integrators for specific vertical market applications under the Sensors That See brand.
In 2007, the focus moved to the general machine vision industry with the FireSync component platform for machine vision applications. Product lines in this area also encompass HexSight software and hardware, as well as the recently launched maestro product line.
