Citect connects with customers amid coconuts, cocktails and cake
Citect celebrated 35 years in the real-time intelligence and industrial automation industry, and the 21st birthday of CitectSCADA at its sixth annual Citect Connects Oceania User Conference, held in August at the Sheraton Mirage in Port Douglas. The scene was an idyllic way to present product roadmaps, hear from customers and share technology tips and tricks.
The conference also included keynote presentations from Citect, industry experts and guest speakers, such as Jim Pinto and cricket legend Rodney Marsh.
Customers who presented at the conference included Rio Tinto, CSR Sugar, BHP Billiton, SP Ausnet, TrustPower Generation, OneSteel, City of Baltimore, Nestlé, New Zealand Sugar and Beijer Electronics.
The company also presented a number of awards at the conference honouring its partners and customers for their dedication to the industry and outstanding implementation and deployment of Citect packages. Among these, LogiCamms received the Oceania Citect Integration Partner of the Year award and Goulburn Valley Water received an award for outstanding implementation and deployment.
