CAPS joins AUSEN
Leading compressed air and power solutions provider CAPS Australia recently joined the highly respected Australian
Engineering Network (AUSEN). An open network of Australian equipment and service suppliers to the oil and gas industry, AUSEN endeavours to help its members build links with government departments and key industry stakeholders.
By providing a dynamic environment, members of AUSEN are able to share information and discuss current and potential project activity as well as trends in the oil and gas sector. AUSEN consists of 44 member companies, which collectively employ more than 20,000 people Australia-wide and have a combined turnover of more than AU$6 billion.
“We are delighted to have joined AUSEN. The organisation works hard to bring all stakeholders in the oil and gas industry together to ensure that we remain internationally competitive and we want to support Australian industry through our association with the network,” said Greg Baldwin, National Sales Manager for CAPS Australia.
The company recently strengthened its engineering solutions department despite concerns over the global financial crisis.
“While many foreign-owned companies have been cautious, we are less pessimistic,” said Baldwin. “Australia has a strong future in the oil, gas, mining and power industries. Companies in these sectors can rest assured that Australian firms have the capability to continue producing quality compressed air solutions locally.”
