Bürkert names PRTS as NQ distributor
Bürkert has appointed Pacific Rim Technical Services (PRTS) as its North Queensland distributor, a move Bürkert says will “maximise its ability to provide process solutions in key markets” like oil and gas, mining, sugar, water treatment and food and beverage.

Following the announcement of the distribution partnership, PRTS has moved into new, larger premises in Townsville. “We were actively seeking new opportunities to match our expanded capabilities,” said Greg Fitzgerald, Managing Director of PRTS.
“Closer partnership with Bürkert will deliver the best of both worlds - local partnership, service and responsiveness for NQ businesses, backed by the resources of an international company. It’s win-win.”
PRTS’s three sales engineers will be actively selling Bürkert products throughout the coastal and inland North Queensland region. PRTS lead field representative, Kel Gillett, was part of the company’s initial Bürkert training and, according to Fitzgerald, is already actively promoting Bürkert.
