Aussie goes Tsurumi

Tsurumi, submersible pumps manufacturer, has appointed Australian Pump Industries as sole distributor for Australia and Papua New Guinea.

The partnership brings Australian consumers quality product, backed by after-market support. Most of Tsurumi‘s manufacturing is carried out in a plant in Kyoto where advanced computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) systems are used. The heavily roboticised factory is ISO 9001 certified and has the capacity to build 1 million submersible pumps per year.

Tsurumi‘s products comprise a range of dewatering pumps from light, single-phase machines, up to large submersible sand pumps, capable of flows of up to 250,000 L per minute.

The company is a global leader in sewage pump development, having pioneered cutter pumps, vortex-style pumps and submersible aeration equipment for wastewater applications.

Australian Pump has an emphasis on servicing the mining, construction and heavy industrial areas.
