Asia Pacific process safety conference - call for papers
The third Hazards Asia Pacific process safety conference will be held on 21-23 April 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Co-hosted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM), the conference will provide a forum for international experts and safety professionals to discuss the latest developments, report incident case studies and share examples of best practice, with particular emphasis on the challenges facing chemical process operations in the Asia Pacific region.
There will also be a technical exhibition which will run alongside the symposium.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Building Sustainable Operations and Processes’ and abstracts are now being invited under the following broad areas:
- Human factors
- Safety control systems
- Mechanical integrity
- Sustainability
- Safety as ‘value’
- Process safety management for SMEs
- Logistics
- Learning from past accidents and incidents
