Ampcontrol expands footprint in Gladstone
Electrical engineering company Ampcontrol has announced that it has expanded its footprint in Queensland, establishing a new site in Gladstone.
Ampcontrol’s Australian footprint now spans NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Through an employee group of over 850, the company’s main business is to deliver integrated electrical, electronic and control solutions to improve safety and efficiency in mining, renewable, infrastructure and industrial applications.
“Gladstone is a region of great opportunity, a region that like Ampcontrol is on an upward trajectory of expansion and growth,” said Ampcontrol Managing Director and CEO Rod Henderson. “It is an opportune time for Ampcontrol to put roots down here to support the region through our capabilities in electrical engineering solutions, products, services and innovations during this period of growth and into the future.”
Adding Gladstone to Ampcontrol’s current Queensland locations of Mackay, Emerald and Moranbah, the company believes will provide a greater depth of support for service delivery across central Queensland.
“The energy and excitement amongst our new customers to see Ampcontrol expand their footprint in Central Queensland has been overwhelmingly positive. I am excited to deliver Ampcontrol’s broad-scoping electrical engineering capabilities for our Gladstone customers,” said Frank Lantry, Ampcontrol Gladstone’s Service Manager.
The company says the Gladstone site will offer its full suite of products and solutions supporting the manufacturing and resources sectors.
