Design Engineering 4.0: From design for manufacture to integrated product creation

02 December, 2021 - 02 December, 2021

Design Engineering 4.0: From Design for Manufacture to Integrated Product Creation. The world-class Swinburne-CSIRO National Industry 4.0 Testlab provides fully digitally supported engineering and manufacturing solutions for parts, processes and entire systems for automotive, aerospace, production and much more in carbon or glass fibre reinforced plastics. Beyond manufacturing, in the Testlab, we seek to integrate cutting-edge digital simulation environments with the physical equipment on the ground through digital twins. We can demonstrate how to design and virtually commission parts to highest degrees of accuracy before we even produce the first parts.

In this webinar, A/Prof Boris Eisenbart will showcase the composite manufacturing production line, as well as the digital tracking and tracing features of relevant process parameters in real time. Boris will outline the opportunities that arise from data capture and processing in combination with machine learning to help plan and optimise parts and processes extremely accurately, long before the first physical parts are created.

This webinar is targeted towards executives, leadership teams, team leaders and managers in manufacturing, product and production quality, design or engineering of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a Victorian manufacturing or process related industry, including automotive, composites, aerospace, defence, etc.

You will be provided with additional information and a link to access the online webinar via eventbrite email 24 hours prior to the event. Please check your spam/junk folder in case the emails are diverted there. Ensure you have provided a valid and correct email address.
