SMC Pneumatics has released the PA3310 and the cleanroom PAP33135 compact process pumps.

The pumps use PFA for all wetted parts, ensure high corrosion resistance and long life.

One of the factors differentiating the pumps from others is their design, which brings high performance and output to a tightly compact unit. The pumps are 120 mm deep, 140 mm long, 110 mm wide and weigh 2.1 kg. Capable of working with ambient and fluid temperatures of 0 to 100°C, the pumps have a proof pressure of 0.75 MPa and a pilot air pressure of 0.2 to 0.5 MPa.

The pumps are designed for most environments, particularly those where access may be difficult. They feature air pilot actuation as standard, enabling resetting to be carried out by releasing the air pressure after supplying it to the reset port. Air pilot actuation also facilitates con-stant cycling, repetitive stopping during operation, and stability in conditions of minimal flow, low pressure or when gases are entrapped. For clean applications, the PAP series pumps are assembled and double-packaged in a cleanroom environment. To ensure the integrity of the pump is retained when in use, its side bodies and ports have been moulded to reduce the chance of dust generation.

Both the PA and PAP series pumps are suitable for a range of applications using fluids such as IPA, deionised water, methyl ethyl ketone and hypochlorous acid soda and have a discharge rate of up to 13 L/min depending on whether air pilot actuation or auto-operation is selected.
