Tenix Alliance has acquired the Queensland energy services of Powerco, a New Zealand-based energy distributor. The purchase does not include Powerco's Tasmanian operations.

Tenix Alliance Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Patterson, said the purchase enhanced Tenix Alliance's capability in South East Queensland as a leader in asset management and infrastructure construction and maintenance. "Tenix Alliance is well positioned to meet the infrastructure challenges in this region, which is experiencing rapid population growth," Patterson said.
