Engineering scholarships for women

Engineers Australia's National Women in Engineering (WIE) Committee has available a scholarship to attend an international Women in Engineering Summer School in Paris.

Organised by the International Institute of Women in Engineering at the Ecole d'Ingenieurs Paris, France (EPF), the 2006 Summer School will be held on 30 June "“ 21 July.

The scholarship is valued at $4000. It includes:

  • return economy airfare
  • conference costs including accommodation, registration, materials and some lunches
  • meals and incidentals worth about $800 (depending on fare costs)

Applicants must be female student members of Engineers Australia studying in their final year at an Australian university.

The deadline for applications is 10 April. The scholarship recipient will be announced on 1 May.
