Visiting 3 cities in one week, the Regional Roadshow Series will bring the latest in automation and control technology and training to key industrial centres, starting off in North Queensland in June.

A joint venture between What's New in Process Technology magazine and industrial training experts, IDC Technologies, the event will spend one day each in Mt Isa, Townsville and Gladstone. The day will comprise training workshops, technical keynote presentations and a product showcase exhibition featuring leading vendors displaying their latest products and technology advances.

The event is free to qualified visitors, and includes entry to the training sessions, exhibition, technical keynotes, plus networking sessions over lunch and on the exhibition floor for drinks after 4pm.

"This innovative new event will bring the latest training tips and new technology to regional centres that often miss out when it comes to exhibitions and conferences. In many cases these centres represent a major section of Australia's manufacturing and resources operations, so it makes sense to bring an event like this to them," organiser Geoff Hird stated.
