Rockwell Automation Australia recently celebrated the 25th birthday of local sales, service and support of Australian industrial automation market leader, Allen-Bradley. This anniversary marked 25 years since the acquisition of a switchboard-building company, an Allen-Bradley distributor, WH Lowe in 1979.

"Our key differentiator is that we've been able to interact with our customers over the years; we've lead the field in this regard," said Bill Roberts, managing director of Rockwell Automation Australia. "Important strategies that have helped us achieve this have been our 27-strong nationwide distributor network, and our 'Complete Automation On The Move' trade shows and seminars. We now provide our customers with the tools required to optimise their businesses, in an era when automation and real-time factory-floor data have become an essential."

Rockwell Automation innovation underpins the essential data resources needed to power strategies vital to Australian manufacturing such as supply chain optimisation, collaborative manufacturing and computerised maintenance management systems.
