Queensland-based manufacturing businesses will have an opportunity to see the latest developments in manufacturing technology and at the same time improve their business practices by attending the 2006 Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan), at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, October 17-19.

QMan 2006 will combine more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest manufacturing equipment, technology and services, with targeted seminar programs aimed at helping Queensland manufacturers improve their processes and procedures.

Partnering with QMan is Commerce Queensland, with the organisation encouraging Queensland-based manufacturing equipment supplier members to exhibit at the show, and actively promoting the event to its members, and the Queensland division of Institute of Instrumentation, Control & Automation Australia Inc (IICA).

IICA will co-host the QICS (Queensland's Instrumentation & Control Show) as a pavilion within QMan to present the latest in instrumentation and control technology for manufacturers. QICS will also include a two-day symposium program.

Steve Bryant, marketing manager with QMI Solutions, said QMan was an opportunity to deliver a broad package of technology and information to manufacturers.

Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to visit the following stands:
