The Pepperl+Fuchs R2000 Series 2-D LiDAR sensors combine high-performance measurement technology with features designed to deliver greater reliability, accuracy and flexibility in modern automation.

Powered by pulse ranging technology (PRT), the R2000 is designed to deliver precise distance measurement and fast response times across a wide range of ambient and object conditions. With 360° all-around visibility, high angular resolution and reliable detection of even extremely small objects, the series is suited to applications ranging from field monitoring and object profiling to robotics and navigation.

Available in R2000 Detection, R2000 HD and R2000 UHD versions, the series provides a solution for diverse application requirements. The R2000 UHD, for example, enables navigation at distances of up to 200 m using reflectors as small as 40 mm, while the R2000 HD delivers up to 84,000 scan points per second for robotic applications.

Lens contamination monitoring detects dirt and deposits before measurement quality is affected, supporting predictive maintenance and increased plant availability. Hardware timestamp provides sub-millisecond time synchronisation for accurate sensor fusion, motion compensation and stable navigation. Meanwhile, flexible I/O access allows external devices and triggers to connect directly to the sensor, reducing additional hardware, wiring and integration complexity.
