Vipa has released the OP03 2 line operator panel which is a programmed Protool from Siemens, or OP Manager from Vipa.
Like the OP03 from Siemens, the Vipa model is designed for small applications and can be connected to both Siemens S7300/400 and Vipa S7 CPUs via MPI.
Being programmed by the Protool enables existing clients to quickly use the new hardware without risk of learning a new software package or redesigning code to suit a different platform.
The Vipa OP03 comes with a backlit LCD 2 x 20 character text display, and port and MMC slot for project saving. Up to 2 x CPUs can be connected to one OP03 and up to 7 x OP03s can be connected to one S7 CPU. The project can be downloaded to the panel via the Vipa green cable, or via MPI cable. The OP03 menu is available in five languages.
