Schneider Electric plans new versions of Vijeo Citect

Schneider Electric has announced that new versions of Vijeo Citect will be released that will offer improvements in mobility, ease of use, information management, security, performance and reliability.

Vijeo Citect will continue to integrate with Wonderware process software in order to extend the system capabilities to include mobile-enabled solutions and a powerful real-time historian. In addition, the software will offer operational efficiency, standardisation and regulatory compliance through the integration with Wonderware system platform features, such as object-oriented design, advanced alarm management and situational awareness libraries.

As part of the integration, best practices from both the Schneider Electric SCADA & MES Global Support and Wonderware Customer FIRST support programs will further improve Schneider Electric’s continuous product support capabilities and global support coverage. This will result in higher levels of assistance into the future.
