Schneider Electric combines all operations

Schneider Electric announced today that it will combine its core Australian operations with its Engineered Services division and specialist subsidiaries, Citect and NuLec, to form one entity as of 1 January 2009.

Trading as Schneider Electric Australia, the merge will position it as the largest automation company in the Pacific. It will provide customers with specialist automation support along with integrated hardware and software solutions including MES, SCADA, PLCs, Drives and Services.

Following the integration, the business will have three divisions: Automation, Power and ISC (Installation Systems & Control).

Schneider Electric’s range of products and solutions, including CitectScada software, will continue to be fully available to all existing customers.
