One week until SCADA Summit 2018
Held on 30 May–1 June 2018, the one-week countdown until the 9th annual SCADA Australia Summit begins.
It will bring together SCADA, industrial automation, system controls, network monitoring and remote operations specialists to discuss practical strategies and solutions for reducing the operational risks of automation, putting data to use, creating cost efficiencies and retrofitting outdated systems with new technologies.
The two-day conference will give attendees the opportunity to meet and network with professionals including Mike Wassell, Hydraulic Systems Services Manager, Sydney Water; Tasnim Abdel-Razaq, Network Control Manager, South Australia Power Network; and Jason Schurmann, Process Control Security Expert, Shell QGC.
The event will cover key topics such as embracing the merge between SCADA and IIoT to better prepare for Industry 4.0, increasing awareness of SCADA’s rapidly evolving industry to avoid a ‘talent gap’ and increasing security safeguards with ICS and SCADA systems to maximise cyber resilience.
Places for the industry workshops ‘SCADA and IIoT Convergence: What this means for the Future of SCADA and Automation’ and ‘Cyber Threats: How to Implement Simple Strategies that Can Reduce Costs and Optimise Cyber Security’ are now limited, so attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
