Citect receives Frost & Sullivan award
Citect has been named the Asia Pacific HMI and SCADA Company of the Year at the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technological Awards.
Awarded for the innovation and performance Schneider and Citect’s HMI and SCADA technologies offer the industrial automation and control industry, this latest accolade follows the company’s success earlier in the year when it won the Frost and Sullivan Industrial Process Control Market Leadership in SCADA Systems award.
Scott Drury, vice-president, Asia for Citect, and Alex Khoo, South East Asia zone director, Schneider Electric, accepted the award on 15 August in Singapore.
“We’re extremely honoured to accept this award. It is a measure not only of the company’s success, but also the teams at Citect and Schneider which make developing and improving our technology their number one priority," Drury said.
“We are constantly striving to evolve our products to ensure they continue to provide real business benefits to our customers, but being recognised for our efforts is a real privilege.”
The annual Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technologies Awards honoured many of the region’s companies with titles in leadership, technology, strategy and innovation excellence. This year, the awards recognised outstanding performances by companies in the electronics and security, industrial automation and process control, energy and power systems, chemicals materials and food industries, as well as new and emerging technologies across those industries.
