Valve assembly with Profibus
The heavy-duty Multimach (HDM) is a valve assembly with integrated Profibus module. It allows for the rapid addition and replacement of valves in a rugged assembly.
For strength and reliability the valve body is made from aluminium with a polymer surround that houses the electrical connections. Fittings are integral and are available for 4, 6 and 8 mm OD tube with valves in 3/2 NC, 3/2 NO, 5/2 and 5/3 configuration.
The unit is available as standard with connection via a 25-pin sub D connector plus slave module available for Profibus-DP, Interbus-S, DeviceNet and CAN-Open. The Profibus module allows the unit to become a Profibus island without connecting via a slave module, reducing its size and increasing its protection rating to IP65.
