Parker ATEX- and IECEx-certified process actuators and valve controls

The Parker range of ATEX- and IECEx-certified process actuator and valve control products is now available.

The 37 mm ATEX electrical parts, primarily designed for process actuator and valve control in the oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, control 2/2 and 3/2 valves and 4 and 5/2 distributors (double-acting actuators). The medium used is generally compressed air. These parts are fully interchangeable with a wide variety of Parker valves due to a modular design in the Classic range, for standard process control applications in chemical and pharmaceutical markets, and the CPR range, for more aggressive environmental applications such as in oil and gas.

Parker’s ATEX- and IECEx-certified electrical parts have resistance to extreme outdoor applications - H class material, IP67 protection and stainless steel external parts - and meet temperature classes T6 to T4.

Parker also has a low current consumption (booster) ‘ia’ product, suitable with major current IS equipment (barriers, remote I/O modules with In= 20 mA) and ‘d mb’ product protection.

All 37 mm electrical parts have been designed and manufactured according to ATEX directive 94/9 EC and normative up-to-date standards Gas Applications EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1, EN 60079-11, EN 60079-18 and Dust Applications EN 61241-0, EN 61241-1, EN 61241-11, EN 61241-18.
