The MS6-SV is a soft-start/exhaust valve designed to meet the requirements of AS 4024 Category 4 and ISO 13849-1 performance level ‘e’. The unit can be integrated into new or existing circuits, either stand-alone or housed in an air preparation module.
In the event of a sudden emergency stop in a safety-critical system, it stops compressed air supply by means of venting. The exhaust flow rate is 6000 L per minute - 1.5 times faster than air supply.
The valve’s redundant 2-channel design provides single fault security - even if an error occurs at the valve, venting of the system is still assured.
The use of the valve is designed to provide the equipment manufacturer, as well as the end user, with the highest possible levels of safety. Its compact dimensions also make installation of the MS6-SV flexible - either as part of the modular system for MS service units or as a stand-alone.
