RFID system

The Harting Ha-VIS RFID system is designed to simplify the implementation of RFID projects. The Ha-VIS RFID system features readers that perform key functions out of the box.

Due to efficient data pre-processing, the readers reduce network traffic on company-wide ethernet networks and enable dynamic performance in high-speed applications such as conveying systems. In order to integrate the majority of RFID transponders, the readers also provide UHF and HF technology as standard features.

The RFID readers are supported by the Ha-VIS RFID Suite, a software solution that allows scaling of RFID solutions from individual readers through to corporate solutions across different locations. The Ha-VIS RFID Suite is used to administer the interfaces to the RFID reading devices and printers, as well as to barcode readers, sensors and controllers. The Ha-VIS RFID Suite is based on the Microsoft .NET platform and offers a service oriented architecture in which other corporate applications can draw on the processed data.
