WIKA PSD-30 pressure switch

The PSD-30 pressure switch is available with an optional fieldbus-independent communications interface, IO-Link.

The point-to-point connection provided by IO-Link is designed to significantly reduce the expense of parameterisation, process monitoring and machine maintenance. By using IO-Link, manual input of the various instrument parameters such as switch points, reset points and units is no longer required.

The operator is supported through a choice of parameters and data documentation. IO-Link also enables diagnostics, giving precise information on the condition of the instrument, thus making replacement decisions more accurately.

Its compact and robust design is enhanced by the readability of its 14-segment LED display. Set-up menus are intuitive and user friendly and it is claimed to be the first pressure switch to conform to VDMA. The WIKA sensor technology is housed in a stainless steel housing which has adjustments for different orientations required during installation.
