The Sigrist OilGuard provides online continuous monitoring of water for traces of mineral oils, using the fluorescence principle. It can be used to monitor any water type, including process, waste, raw and potable water. Oil in water detection is often essential to meet licence conditions and to protect equipment.
The product offers virtually maintenance-free operation by using a non-contact flow cell and a dual UV beam. These features eliminate signal drift, as commonly experienced with other types of monitors, and compensate for any UV light intensity degradation. The non-contact flow cell means no regular cleaning is required and ensures long-term stable operation.
The product is also available in an IECEX certified hazardous area version.
