Series PFT paddlewheel flow sensor

Friday, 17 September, 2010 | Supplied by: Dwyer Omega (Aust) Pty Ltd

The Series PFT paddlewheel flow sensor is designed for monitoring liquid flow in 3.8 to 100 cm pipes. The insertion design allows one model to be used for the full pipe size capability.

The non-magnetic operation of the device using inductive sensing allows for low flow sensing and is not affected by magnetic material in the flow. A square wave output signal is generated with frequency proportional to flow velocity. The design is weatherproof and submersible rated for application versatility. The flow sensor comes in brass or 316 stainless steel versions for different media compatibility.
