The PT878 and the OKS transducers combined allow for the non-invasive measurement of flow rates in pipes within the temperature range of -200 to 350 °C.
The ultrasonic transducers are mounted on the exterior of the pipe, which simplifies and speeds installation, so that there are no pressure drops, leaks or contamination.
The system is suitable for testing liquid flow in manufacturing processes, without costly repairs or changes to plant.
Features include a flow measuring range of 0.03 to 12.2 m/s, storage for up to 32 sets of pipe-data by site, velocity, volumetric, energy and totalised flow results, and a built-in data logger for 100,000 measurements.
