Bestech thermoMETER CT M3 infrared temperature sensor

The thermoMETER CT M3 is an infrared temperature sensor that provides accurate temperature measurements for metals, secondary metal processing and ceramic materials. It has a temperature range of 50 to 600°C and the unit can be used in ambient temperatures of 85°C without cooling.

The double laser aiming marks real spot location at any distance. Spot size can be as low as 0.7 mm. Optical resolution of up to 100:1 can be achieved, with selectable focus.

The short measuring wavelength of 2.3 µm reduces error in temperature readings on surfaces with low or unknown emissivity. It also allows measurements through glass or transparent plastic windows down to low temperatures of 50°C, which is quite common in modern laser welding systems. The integrated photon detector and fast signal processing guarantee maximum sensitivity and a fast response time of 1 ms.

Analog output signals include 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V and thermocouple. Optional digital outputs are also available - USB, RS232, RS485, CAN, Profibus DP and ethernet.

Software is also available that supports multitasking and facilitates remote control, allowing the user to customise the sensor to application needs.
