HYDAC HDA 4800 high-precision pressure transmitter
The HDA 4800 high-precision pressure transmitter has been specially developed for the measurement demands of iron and steelworks applications. The transmitter is the next-generation version of the HDA 3800 series.
The instrument has a robust sensor cell with a thin-film strain gauge on a stainless steel membrane.
With its good characteristics with regard to temperature influence (with a thermal drift for zero point and range of ≤ ±0.01% FS/°C) and accuracy (≤ ±0.15% FS typ), it is suitable for utilisation in the prevailing ambient conditions.
The good EMC characteristics are said to guarantee signal stability during the harshest high-frequency, electromagnetic interference.
Additional protection against humidity and vibrations is achieved by encapsulation. By using a shrink-on sleeve, the sensor is protected against bending.
Product benefits include: accuracy ≤ ±0.15% FS typ; specially designed for the use in steel and rolling mills; robust sensor cell; small temperature errors; good EMC properties; long-term stability; compact design; additional protection against humidity and vibration.
