Transition’s industrial POE switches are power sourcing equipment devices that comply with the IEEE802.3af 2003 standard and combine data received over a fibre-optic link with -48 VDC power, providing power to powered devices over unshielded twisted pair cabling. These industrial POE switches are hardened devices designed to reliably operate in harsh environments such as those found on factory floors, outdoor enclosures or other hazardous environments while providing all the benefits of POE power.
The switches provide four 10/100Base-Tx POE copper ports and one 100Base-Fx fibre port, full-wire speed performance with 1 Gbps backplane, dry relay alarm output and DIN rail or wall mounting options. Six models are available covering standard (-10 to +50°C) and extended temperature (-40 to +65°C) ranges, and multimode and singlemode fibre options with ST and SC connectors.
