MIL-SM24004TG ethernet switch

The Milan Technology MIL-SM24004TG features 24 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 BaseT gigabit ethernet RJ-45 ports plus fibre connectivity through four combination hot-swappable small form-factor pluggable (SFP) gigabit interfaces.

The MIL-SM4804G features 48 auto-sensing 10/100 BaseTX fast ethernet RJ-45 ports plus fibre connectivity through two combination hot-swappable SFP gigabit interfaces. In addition, this switch also supports stacking capabilities through two gigabit RJ-45 ports to allow users to build a single-IP manageable device up to eight switches using standard Cat 5 cabling.

These multi-layer switches enhance network performance and security by incorporating advance intelligence to keep information delivery fast and free from error. Features include traffic limiting, EEE 802.1x MAC-based authentication and access control lists, ensuring that only authorised users can access the network. Users can prioritise network traffic with advanced quality of service to ensure voice, video and data traffic flow. The built-in gigabit SFP ethernet interfaces on these managed switches add flexibility when adding additional switches, directly connecting file servers, or aggregating mission critical data to the core of the network via copper or fibre gigabit connections.
