Matrix Electronica M2M devices available in Australia

Australis M2M Pty Ltd has announced it has acquired distributorship for Matrix Electronica’s MTX range of M2M devices. Australis M2M Pty Ltd specialises in the provision of industrial cellular M2M hardware and services, with the aim of providing configurable M2M/IoT devices.

Matrix Electronica have been supplying products, including MTX M2M devices, since 1991. MTX products can be used in a wide variety of applications from simple SMS alarm and control applications (via digital or analog inputs), through to applications requiring complex serial tunnel or other modes of IP connectivity.

Applications include irrigation, agriculture, smart metering, SMS alarm, serial logging, temperature monitoring for wineries or cool rooms, Modbus alarm and control, remote connectivity to industrial PLCs, data loggers or remote signs.

Serial modem and ethernet routers are available all with Modbus as standard, and include features such as MQTT, data logging and SNMP.
