Scitech appointed distributor for NanoFocus

Scitech has been appointed the authorised distributor for the NanoFocus range of products in Australia and New Zealand. NanoFocus offers products for 3D surface measurement, precise 3D profilometry and ultrafast 3D in-line sensors. These products work at high measurement and analysis speed for in-line quality assurance and process control on production lines and in the automotive, electronics and medical technology industries.

NanoFocus is a developer and manufacturer of measurement technology and software packages for the characterisation of technical surfaces. The company’s confocal optical 3D surface analysis tools offer good quality assurance, process control and manufacturing efficiency for all industries and applications. The analysis systems allow high-precision micro- and nanoscale 3D surface measurements. They enable fast, easy and contactless 3D measurements of topography, microgeometry, roughness or other surface characteristics.

The NanoFocus product range contains three lines of measurement systems — the μsurf 3D metrology systems, the μscan 2D/3D profilometers and the ultrafast μsprint 3D in-line sensors — all based on the optical confocal principle developed and patented by NanoFocus. The hardware is complemented by the analysis software µsoft, also developed by NanoFocus.

Applications include the automotive industry, fuel cell technology, the paper and printing industry, electronics and semiconductors, medical technology, mechanical engineering, materials science, microsystems technology, safety engineering, solar technology and tool manufacture.
