Rockwell Automation to focus on partnering at AUSPACK PLUS 2011

At the AUSPACK PLUS 2011 exhibition in March, Rockwell Automation will focus on furthering cooperative partnerships with machine-builders and OEMs, emphasising a consultative approach to helping companies achieve their business goals. This will include fielding a team of experts at the exhibition to discuss the range of implementation tools and solutions for ‘mid-range’ applications, as well as a fully integrated and interactive machine safety demonstration.

According to Glen Jacob, Executive Account Manager, Food and Beverage, Rockwell Automation is ideally placed to provide OEMs with the software tools and automation solutions required for a competitive edge. “OEMs are always on the lookout for ways to improve their time to market and to reduce their total costs to design, develop and deliver their machine solutions, while focusing on innovation, machine throughput, performance and safety,” he said. “By establishing cooperative partnerships, Rockwell Automation is committed to delivering the products and services, capabilities and scalability to improve our customers’ business performance.”

The AUSPACK exhibition will highlight the powerful range of product selection and system configuration tools available from Rockwell Automation to assist OEMs in choosing the correct solution for a specific application. These are freely available via the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture website and are designed to help users plan and configure the Rockwell Automation systems into their design. Company experts will be on hand during the exhibition to provide advice and insight into the product portfolio.

Rockwell Automation will also emphasise the power of integrated safety control systems that not only optimise worker safety, but also improve productivity and uptime. The integration of programmable safety control devices at the design phase gives OEMs the opportunity to implement current safety requirements, with the benefit of minimal impact on productivity downtime due to emergency stops. An interactive machine safety demonstration unit on the AUSPACK stand will illustrate the advantage of taking such a holistic approach to safety control.
