element14 offers Omega sensing and process control products

Electronics distributor element14 has expanded its industrial automation and control range of products from Omega. Electronic design, industrial and maintenance engineers can now buy Omega’s range of products for measurement and control of temperature, humidity, pressure, strain, force, flow, level, pH and conductivity from element14.

Omega helps customers in aerospace, automotive, wireless, test and measurement, process control and power monitoring to connect their systems.

The Omega range of sensing, heating, automation, data acquisition and control solutions now available from element14 includes the CN16PT-330 PID controller: from the Platinum Series of microprocessor-based PID controllers, offering universal inputs that support thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, process voltage/current and strain and sampling data at up to 20 samples/s with a 24-bit ADC. Connectivity is via USB, optional Ethernet and RS232/RS485 with Modbus.

Other products include the NOMAD OM-91 temperature data logger, a portable, battery-powered data logger that is compact, lightweight and easy to use for accurate and repeatable logging of temperature; the OS136A-1-K infrared temperature transmitter, a non-contact combined infrared temperature sensor and transmitter available with two measurement ranges of -18 to 202°C and 149 to 538°C; and the FL-500 Series inline flowmeters, which feature direct-reading flow rates for water and air at atmospheric and 6.2 bar (90 psi) pressures and can be used for flow rate indication for liquids, gases and steam.

“We are delighted to provide an expanded range of specialist industrial automation and process control products from Omega,” said Simon Meadmore, Global Head of IP&E at Farnell and element14. “We now offer our customers fast delivery of the largest range of Omega products available from a single source. Great quality and high reliability make Omega the first choice for our customers building industrial control applications.”
