Oz Seals has developed the heavy-duty Quattro Seal that is designed to be twice as safe as a standard seal. With lower leakage and failure rates, the Quattro seal is suitable for heavy-duty hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
The seal uses four sealing surfaces to make a positive seal - twice the number used by a standard seal. With less pressure required to create a positive seal, the life of the seal is extended. If the primary seal fails, the secondary seal backs it up, lowering leakage and failure rates. The seal will also work in extreme temperatures and remain flexible at low temperatures.
The seal is available in a standard range of profiles in both metric and imperial units. Special profiles of up to 2100 mm OD can also be manufactured to order.
