The Brüel & Kjær 4448 personal noise dose meter assesses noise exposure in the workplace, informing users of the level of hearing protection required.
Simultaneously measuring all relevant parameters required by Noise at Work standards, the 4448 is suitable for use in hazardous environments where only certified equipment can be legally used.
The meter features autocalibration function and 180 h logging storage with LAeq and LZpeak. An LCD allows users to review instrument, battery and memory statuses and the rechargeable battery gives an operation time of 28 h.
Other standard features include a dB alarm LED and cable-free operation. A kit of three meters includes a Type 1 calibrator.
