element14 has introduced the TE Deutsch Circular Industrial Micro Connector (IMC) series.

The IMC range is suitable for applications where heat, dust, moisture and commonly used industrial oils and chemicals are prevalent. The IMC range is also suitable for applications where space is at a premium. Typically, the IMC range will meet the requirements of manufacturers of test equipment, industrial sensors, medical diagnostics equipment, industrial instrumentation and process control systems.

Plugs are mated with either the inline or universal receptacle. The IMC range is engineered with a high-strength composite housing and constructed from high-temperature-resistant composite material, making the range suitable for rugged, high-temperature applications. The connectors are available in two shell sizes and seven contact configurations offering a current rating of up to 13 A, a voltage rating from 750 to 1000 VAC and an insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ.
