Interworld Electronics carries a large range of box PCs designed for embedded applications. The ACS-265x Series embedded PCs are small sized computer systems with rich I/O and expansion capabilities. The ACS-265x Series are fanless box PCs based on the Intel GM965 + ICH8ME chipset with support for Intel Socket P Core 2 Duo processors with 533/667/800 MHz FSB. Two 240 pin dual channel memory sockets are provided for up to 4 GB of DDR2 533/667 MHz SDRAM.

Two models are available. The ACS-2653 is a compact stand-alone model with no expansion slots, while the ACS-2654 is housed in a slightly larger case and provides one 32-bit PCI slot for user supplied add-in cards.

Common features of the ACS-265x Series include: space for an internal 2.5″ hard drive and an externally accessible CompactFlash card, 3 x RS-232 COM ports, 1 x RS-232/422/485 COM port, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, VGA graphics port, PS/2 keyboard and mouse as well as audio line-in and line-out.

The ACS-265x Series operates from a wide range 11 to 28 Volt DC supply, making them ideal for mobile or portable computing requirements.
