The Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 is claimed ot be one of the most rugged and reliable notebook PCs in the field, and is suitable for use in factory situations. It is durable enough to withstand the elements, including high temperatures, and can withstand a drop from 180 cm.
The device is available with 4-8 GB of RAM and offers serial, ethernet (x2 optional), Firewire, HDMI and VGA ports. The notebook PCs are supplied with Windows 7 Professional and an option of automation softwate including Siemens Step 7 and Allen Bradley RSLogix. The computers come with a three-year warranty and there is a range of Toughbooks to cater for all environments with the devices varying in durability and price.
