Interworld Electronics has released the Aplex BOXER-6648-ARS, a fanless industrial embedded box PC designed for process control, manufacturing, warehousing and other industrial applications. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, with Ultra 9, Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 options, the system is designed to deliver multi-core performance with integrated Intel Xe LPG graphics suitable for edge computing, automation and machine vision applications.

The BOXER-6648-ARS supports dual-channel DDR5 SODIMM memory up to 96 GB, enabling high-speed data handling for real-time control and analytics. Storage options include two internal 2.5″ SATA drive bays (optional RAID 0/1 support) and an M.2 2280 M-Key slot with PCIe Gen 4 x4 support for NVMe SSDs, providing flexibility for operating systems, application software and data logging.

For connectivity, multiple USB configurations are available depending on SKU (eight USB ports in total), along with six DB-9 serial ports supporting RS-232/422/485, dual HDMI 2.0 outputs for multi-display environments, eight DIO and three LAN ports, including dual 2.5 GbE. The A2 model also supports iAMT for remote monitoring and management in distributed installations.

The BOXER-6648-ARS supports a wide 10–35 VDC power input range, operates across a -25 to 50°C temperature range, and offers vibration and shock resistance. Wall mounting and optional DIN rail mounting support flexible installation, with Windows 11 and Ubuntu compatibility for long-term deployment.
