Aaeon AEC-6401 miniature embedded controller

The Aaeon AEC-6401 miniature embedded controller is only 20 mm thick, but it provides enough processing power to serve in factory automation, environmental monitoring, digital signage and in-vehicle computing applications.

AEC-6401 is designed around the Intel Atom N2600 1.6 GHz multicore processor to provide a fanless embedded computing platform that features 2 GB of DDR3 1066 MHz system memory, one gigabit RJ45 Ethernet connector, four USB 3.0 ports, three RS232/422/485 ports for communication and a Mini HDMI port for a video display.

An internal half-size mSATA solid-state drive is provided for operating system and data storage. An optional 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module is also available.

The AEC-6401 operates from a 12 VDC supply and measures 125 x 77 x 20 mm, making it a suitable embedded computer whenever space constraints are an issue.
