Rockwell names new state manager for Vic and Tas
Tim Keech has been appointed to the role of state manager for Victoria and Tasmania for Rockwell Automation. Keech will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling the operations in the two states.
He will also work with distributor partners to drive growth and assure the long-term growth, development and viability of the local market.
“In addition to financial results, a key focus will be to bring together the various business units and distribution channels to meet the unique needs of our customers,” said Keech.
“As highlighted by the recent decision of Ford and Holden to cease manufacturing in Australia, the sector continues to faces a number of challenges to remain competitive in the global environment. We are firmly focused on continuing to evolve our product and service offerings to help our customers address these challenges in their businesses.”
Keech began working for Rockwell Automation in May 2003, holding a variety of sales and business unit roles. In 2009, he briefly worked for MI Power, a Rockwell Automation customer, as sales and marketing manager. Keech rejoined Rockwell Automation in 2010 as business manager, power control business. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical from the University of Technology, Sydney.
