New Automation, Control & Instrumentation event announced
WFevents today announced the launch of a new, targeted event for industrial professionals. ACI Connect will focus on automation, instrumentation and control and will be held in Melbourne in early April, 2014. The conference and exhibition has been developed by the team that ran the industrial technology Regional Roadshow event series over the past eight years.
WFevents is the event arm of B2B industrial and technology publisher Westwick-Farrow Media (publisher of this website and What’s New in Process Technology magazine) and is also responsible for running the largest professional radio communications event in the Southern Hemisphere, Comms Connect.
ACI Connect will feature case studies, workshops and keynote presentations from the region’s leading educators and trainers. The focus will be on automation, control and instrumentation technologies, and applications across a broad range of industry sectors, including oil and gas, manufacturing, mining, food, pharma, minerals, metals and more.
Event Director Paul Davis added that ACI Connect was pleased to have the sector’s leading body, the Institute of Instrumentation, Control & Automation (IICA), as the inaugural Association Partner for the event. “It is great to be working with and to have full support from the institute. As the key body representing this sector, it ensures broad market coverage and industry support from the outset,” Davis said.
A Call for Papers broadcast will follow shortly and will be promoted on this website, in the eNewsletter and magazine, and via targeted eDM broadcasts by Westwick-Farrow Media and the IICA. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are limited. For more information, get the ACI Connect prospectus by clicking here.
