IPD Group announces acquisition of EX Engineering
IPD Group has announced that it has completed the acquisition of EX Engineering, a business that specialises in the design, supply, modification and repair of electrical hazardous area equipment.
The company says that with the acquisition, it is taking a significant step forward in expanding its service offerings and capabilities. EX Engineering’s services in the form of solutions to meet hazardous area equipment needs across several industries complements IPD’s existing services and aligns with IPD Group’s long-term growth strategy.
“We are thrilled to welcome EX Engineering to the IPD Group family,” said Michael Sainsbury, CEO of IPD Group. “Using IPD’s national sales force and footprint, we will be able to expand the successful EX Engineering model across Australia from its current base in WA. We look forward to working with Warwick and Jenni Greville as well as the rest of the EX Engineering team to grow the business to its full potential.”
EX Engineering’s management team will remain in their current roles and will continue to oversee the operations.
“We are excited by the prospect of expanding the EX Engineering business with the resources and assistance of the broader IPD team,” said Warwick and Jenni Greville, the founders of EX Engineering. “We are pleased our mission to expand this business across Australia can now be achieved in a much faster timeframe.”
