Industry panellists confirmed for Automation and Power World Australia

ABB Automation and Power World Australia 2012 is now less than two weeks away and organisers have confirmed panellists for the three industry panel sessions on day one of the event.

The three one-hour sessions will be held throughout the day and will cover a range of topics:

  • Renewables and environment: What does operating in a ‘carbon tax’ economy mean for Australian Industries? Short-term challenges and long-term implications of the government’s 80% emissions reduction target and how essential industries (energy/mining) are responding.
  • Industrial productivity: Optimisation, automation and remote operations: the challenge to meet increasing production in a country with a shortage of skilled labour.
  • Energy efficiency: Preparing for 2030: responding to Australia’s increasing demand for energy.
