Vented water level data logger

09 June, 2009 | Supplied by: Dwyer Instruments (Aust) Pty Ltd

The model LDL2-030 vented water level data logger has a vented cable and end cap to allow it to automatically compensate for atmospheric pressure fluctuations.

Thermal dispersion flow switches

09 June, 2009 | Supplied by: Control Components Pty Ltd

The Kayden line of products is based on the thermal dispersion principle of operation. The Classic 800 was conceived to meet the extreme demands of the oil and gas industries, and there are no moving parts to fail, no mechanical trim pots to adjust.

Signal interface modules

09 June, 2009 | Supplied by: SciTech Pty Ltd

A family of signal interface (SI) modules has been introduced by Microstar Laboratories, maker of data acquisition processor (DAP) boards and network-ready DAPservers for PC-based data acquisition and control systems. SI modules are intelligent: they communicate with and can be configured and controlled by the onboard intelligence embedded in DAP products. All SI modules include signal isolation to prevent ground loops.

Dairy reduces effluent and increases yield with TOC analysis

04 June, 2009

The Murray Goulburn dairy factory in Maffra, Victoria, processes four million litres of raw milk per year into intermediate products including butter, cream, anhydrous milk fat and milk powders. The installation of a total organic carbon (TOC) analyser has paid back its investment several times over by limiting COD discharge levels outside the trade waste agreement, thus minimising additional charges previously incurred.

Transducer non-invasively measures flow rates in pipes

20 May, 2009 | Supplied by: http://www.techrentals.com.au/Products_Detail.asp?s_keyword=pt878&productcode=PAN%2CPT878&Country=AU

The PT878 and the OKS transducers combined allows the user to non-invasively measure flow rates in pipes within the temperature range of -200°C to 350°C.

An irrefutable measurement solution for bunker fuel oil

19 May, 2009 | Supplied by: Invensys Process Systems (Australia) Pty Ltd

The metering of bunker fuel oil represents a series of difficult technical challenges, but BP Marine Fuels believed that by employing advanced technology, the arcane practice of manually measuring or ‘dipping’ the amount of bunker fuel oil on a fuel barge will be consigned to the past. Shipowners can now reconcile the volume of bunker fuel oil delivered without the requirement for inspection.

Food temperature measuring system

18 May, 2009 | Supplied by: OneTemp Pty Ltd

The Datapaq Food Tracker profiling system is a multi-channel method of measuring the actual product and ambient temperature throughout cook, fry and chill processes.

Reagent-free inline ammonium analyser

11 May, 2009 | Supplied by: Endress+Hauser Australia Pty Ltd
