Wavelink and Garland Technology announce distribution agreement

Wavelink has announced a distribution agreement with Garland Technology, a manufacturer of network test access points (TAPs), data diodes and packet brokers. The company said the partnership lets Wavelink offer its partners a range of critical network visibility solutions, so that they can implement robust measures in an environment rife with increasingly sophisticated and pervasive cyber threats.

Wavelink is distributing Garland Technology products through its network of resellers and system integrators across various industries, including mining, manufacturing and critical infrastructure. Both businesses are committed to providing ongoing support and training for partners, from the initial implementation phase to ongoing operations.

Garland Technology provides solutions for network visibility, which are essential for organisations to ensure that data can be monitored, analysed and protected efficiently. Network TAPs allow companies to access data traffic non-intrusively for full data visibility without compromising network integrity. Packet brokers optimise the traffic flow to monitoring tools, ensuring that security and performance monitoring systems receive the relevant data they need to operate effectively. Cloud visibility solutions extend these capabilities into cloud environments, where traditional data access methods may not suffice. This means enhanced network performance, improved security posture and better compliance with regulations for businesses as they gain the ability to monitor and respond to issues in real time.

“The demand for network visibility solutions designed specifically for operational technology (OT) environments has grown substantially over the past 18 months,” said Chris Bihary, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Garland Technology. “Garland Technology is excited to work in partnership with the Wavelink team and bring its Network TAP, aggregator and hardware data diode solutions to the Australian market.

“Having a dedicated partner like Wavelink is crucial to helping Garland Technology expand its network in Australia and New Zealand and assist in protecting vital critical infrastructure assets.”

Ilan Rubin, Chief Executive Officer, Wavelink, said: “Garland Technology aligns perfectly with Wavelink’s mission to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. Garland Technology’s products complement Wavelink’s existing portfolio and empower the organisation to offer a comprehensive solution set for partners to help customers achieve their network performance and security goals.

“This partnership is a step forward in providing Australian and New Zealand companies with the tools they need to safeguard their digital assets and maintain operational integrity. By enhancing their network visibility and security capabilities, organisations can protect against threats and optimise their network performance, leading to better business outcomes.”
