Cerlic MultiTracker handheld water-monitoring instrument

The Cerlic MultiTracker handheld sensor is a versatile tool for operators and process teams in water and wastewater applications.

It uses the MultiSeries range of plug-and-play sensors for accurate measurement of sludge blanket, total suspended solids and dissolved oxygen.

For sludge blanket measurement, the Blanko sensor combines a near infrared (NIR) optical sensor with integral pressure transducer to measure both sludge and fluff (unsettled sludge) levels in clarifiers and thickeners, providing a complete graphical sludge profile (up to 2% TSS).

Total suspended solids in bioreactors, return-activated sludge troughs and raw sewage can be measured using the Solido sensor that uses NIR to directly measure total suspended solids (up to 5% TSS) without the need for colour compensation (ppm, mg/L, %).

The Oxyduo sensor measures dissolved oxygen with a choice of an electrochemical (galvanic) or optical sensing cell, and measures dissolved oxygen up to 20 mg/L. Consumable caps can be replaced independently of the 316 stainless steel body.

The MultiTracker has a long-life (approx 2-3 years) battery life and will log up to 250 of the real-time measurements displayed on its large, backlit, graphical LCD screen. Optional acoustic or vibration alarms (programmed for each sensor) provide feedback to the user at preprogrammed sensor values (changeable on the device without a lab sample).
